Will cbd get me high?
Absolutely not! While we do use Full Spectrum CBD in most of our products, the THC in it is only in trace amounts. This means that it acts more as a driver for CBD and the other cannabinoids naturally occurring in the hemp plant. The amount of THC in our products is like putting a drop of pure alcohol in a gallon of water. You wont get drunk from it.
Will i pass a urine analysis?
This has to be one of the most frequently asked questions for us. Look, every job is different. Some business use labs that strictly test for THC. Others use labs that test ALL cannabinoids. It is important for you to know the difference. Herban Extracts has independently drug tested some of our customers, and never had anyone pop hot for traditional THC drug tests. This does not mean we can guarentee you will pass. HOWEVER, we are launching a BROAD Spectrum CBD line very shortly. THC FREE! Read the next question to learn more.
What is the difference between full spectrum, broad spectrum & isolate cbd?
Great question!
Full spectrum CBD means that it uses an extract containing all naturally occuring phytocannabinoids (cannabinoids found within the plant), terpenes, amino acids and other incredible benefits. We believe this is what works best for most people.
Broad Spectrum CBD means that it uses an extract that is almost identical to the Full Spectrum, except they add an extra step to pull out any THC.
Isolate is pure CBD. It looks like baking soda. Some people get migraines from using this form of CBD by itself, as it is too pure.
What are cannabinoids?
Many of the internet and dictionary definitions of this are wrong. The best we found comes from WeedMaps: “A chemical compound found in cannabis and produced by the human body that interacts with our bodies’ receptors. Endocannabinoids, or internally produced cannabinoids, are an essential component of our bodies’ endocannabinoid system (ECS), which is largely responsible for maintaining internal balance. Phytocannabinoids, or marijuana cannabinoids produced by the cannabis plant, mimic the functions of our endocannabinoids and are responsible for the euphoric effects associated with THC.” But did you know that cannabinoids are found in other plants like cacao, kava coffee, echinacea, black pepper & more! We have a natural system, called the Endocannabinoid System that these compounds react with to help put our body into balance.
What is the endocannabinoid system?
The endogenous cannabinoid system, named after the plant that led to its discovery, is perhaps the most important physiologic system involved in establishing and maintaining human health. Endocannabinoids and their receptors are found throughout the body: in the brain, organs, connective tissues, glands, and immune cells. In each tissue, the cannabinoid system performs different tasks, but the goal is always the same: homeostasis, the maintenance of a stable internal environment despite fluctuations in the external environment. Things like cannabis and dark cholcate contain these cannabinoids that are so helpful in getting to homeostasis. Please visit Here for more information. (Website outside of Herban Extracts).
will this interact with my medication?
CBD, much like grapefruit juice, can affect how your medication works. It is important to consult a medical professional to see how CBD can work hand in hand with your current medication.
What is the difference between hemp and marijuana?
Hemp & marijuana are both the same plant, cannabis. Hemp and marijuana are terms used to describe cannabis’ THC content. If it has more than 0.3% THC, it is considered marijuana. If it has less than 0.3% THC, it is considered hemp. That is the literal only difference. They both grow buds on the female and seeds on the males. Hemp plants terpenes are amazing and trust me when I say, I’ve grown hemp to look better than most people’s marijuana.
All Cbd is the sAME, RIGHT?
Absolutely…NOT! Listen, we are FAR from the only brand who cares about quality and honest branding. But lets face it, there are A LOT of companies doing it flat out wrong. No lab tests to even prove theres CBD in it or that it’s dosed correctly. Improper & inadequate safety testing. Incorrect dosing. No CBD in it at all! Overpriced for no reason. These are MAJOR issues we see on the market. That is why ALL of the CBD we use in our products is independent third party lab tested before its ever put into our products for pesticides, solvents, heavy metals, microbial impurities & cannabinoid profile. Only the BEST goes into our products, and we can prove it!
